Schedule settings
IMPORTANT: How you set connection schedules depends on whether your server has a continuous connection to the Internet. If not, you should turn on remote polling (ETRN) and follow the instructions for setting up a connection schedule with intermittent Internet access. Otherwise you may not receive mail sent when your server is not connected. Connect as needed When this option is selected, the server connects whenever there is mail to send to this host. Set allowed connection times When this option is selected, the server connects only at times you specify. You must select this option if you have intermittent Internet access. If you have intermittent Internet access, specify the times your mail server should check the ISP's server for mail by dragging across connection times to make them green. If you have continuous Internet access and you do not want to connect as needed, it's best to create a connection schedule by editing the default host template before hosts appear in the host list. Retry Frequency You can choose how often the mail server tries to reestablish a connection if it can't connect. Remote Mail Polling (ETRN) Enable polling for remote mail based on Retry Frequency: Related topic
